Many leaves have fallen beneath your shoes, many songs you have sung, and many homilies you have presented to the impatient crowds of hundreds and thousands, who cherish your every spoken word. You are the associate pastor of God the Almighty the creator of Heaven and Earth; You are the angel of Peace; The disciple of Happiness; The greatest theologist of our times. You acknowledge the pain of all those who surround You physically and mentally, and inform them of the gift of suffering, which was and is endured by Jesus Christ. St. John Chrysostom said that, „The rich man is not one who is in possession of much, but one who gives much”. Therefore, You are the wealthiest man in the world. Your message of love, kindness, and understanding permeates inside the heart of every soul that has ever heard your words. They are pure and sincere in nature, and only, „To the pure all things are pure” (Tt 1, 15). You continually sustain Your virtuousness because You understand that, „A man is not to aim at innocence any more than he is to aim at hair, but he is to keep it” (Ralph Waldo Emerson). God has endowed upon You many diverse attributes, and all these single superior characteristics put simultaneously together are what make up You, our Pope, John Paul II. You are an extraordinary orator, educator, and spiritual doctor. You have recognized and broadened the Polish traditions, which include faith in God, and love for one´s neighbor. You have elevated the Polish flag along with its people. You are all that is admirable in this world. On behalf of the youth in Chicago, Thank You.
